Outreach support
For daily functioning: structure, planning, sensory load, independence, communication and maintaining an overview, at home, at school, at work or in the neighbourhood. Support starts where the daily challenge is greatest.
Not knowing where to begin is completely normal, especially when a lot is happening at once. This page gives you a clear overview of what NNorthHarp offers: outreach support, autism and sensory care, support for young people and parenting guidance, all available in English, in Amsterdam.
For daily functioning: structure, planning, sensory load, independence, communication and maintaining an overview, at home, at school, at work or in the neighbourhood. Support starts where the daily challenge is greatest.
When predictability, calm moments and clear communication make the difference. Support is practically tailored to the daily environment and the individual’s specific sensory profile.
For young people who are struggling with school pressure, motivation, planning, social tension, emotions, screen use or sensory overload. Support is coordinated with parents or school where relevant.
For parents and families seeking calm, clearer agreements, better communication or practical parenting support for recurring situations. Also available for expat families navigating Dutch schools and care systems.
Start with outreach support or autism support. Both pages explain how support connects to daily life at home, at school and with the family, for children, teenagers and their parents.
Start with outreach support. That page explains how support can connect to daily structure, planning, sensory load, independence and day-to-day functioning.
The About page introduces Nancy: her professional background, how she works, the step-by-step approach and what to expect from a first conversation.
A free introductory call is the right starting point. A short description of what is happening is enough to explore together which type of support is logical. There is no commitment.
Navigating care and support in a new country is genuinely complicated. A different language, unfamiliar school systems, Dutch care processes that are hard to understand from the outside, and often no obvious first point of contact in English. NNorthHarp works in English.
Whether you have just arrived in Amsterdam, have been here for years, or simply prefer English when discussing sensitive family matters, you are welcome to reach out. You do not need to explain Dutch care terminology or translate your situation before the first conversation.
Get in touch via the contact page.
Clarity prevents mismatched expectations. NNorthHarp offers outreach support, parenting guidance and practical care. Some tasks belong to other bodies or acute care services:
During an introductory call we can discuss calmly whether outreach support fits your situation practically and in terms of content, and what that would look like in practice.
For questions about personal care budgets (PGB) or long-term care (Wlz) in the Netherlands, Nancy can explain what these mean, while the formal application process runs through the Dutch care authorities.
More detail: care support with a personal budget (PGB) or support within a long-term care (Wlz) context.
NNorthHarp offers outreach support (ambulante begeleiding), autism and sensory support, support for young people, and parenting and family guidance. Support takes place in Amsterdam, in English and Dutch, and is tailored to the individual, their daily context and their specific support question.
Yes. NNorthHarp offers support in both English and Dutch. Expat families, international residents and anyone who prefers English are welcome to reach out via the contact page and discuss their situation.
You don’t need to have your question fully formulated. A free introductory conversation is the right starting point. During this call we discuss what is happening, explore the support question together and look at which type of support makes most sense for your situation. There is no commitment.
Yes, in the sense that Nancy can explain what outreach support involves, what PGB (a personal care budget) and Wlz (long-term care law) mean in practice, and what kind of support would make sense for your situation. NNorthHarp does not issue care indications, submit PGB or Wlz applications, or make decisions about funding. Those processes run through the Dutch care authorities.
Send a short question via the contact page. We will look together at whether NNorthHarp can support you practically and in terms of content. Your question doesn’t need to be perfectly formulated, and there is no commitment.
